Privacy Policy

Last modified on August 21, 2026

This policy explains how ScoreQwik ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use https://scoreqwik.com and its related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect account and contact information, such as your name and email address; billing and transaction records for paid services; support messages; and technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and the date and time of activity.

We also process material you choose to submit for evaluation. This may include writing, task prompts, answers, and related evaluation results. If you use a speaking feature, it may also include audio, transcripts, and speaking feedback. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information about yourself or anyone else in a submission.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, evaluate submissions, provide feedback, process payments, answer support requests, maintain and troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We may also use service activity and feedback to test and improve our evaluation methods and product.

Automated Evaluation and Service Providers

Submitted content may be processed by automated systems, including artificial intelligence models, to produce scores and feedback. We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, AI processing, analytics, email, customer support, and payment processing. They receive information only as needed to perform work for us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

Deidentified and Aggregate Research

We may create statistics and research findings from submissions only after taking reasonable steps to remove direct identifiers and combine results so they are not reasonably linked to an individual. We may publish those aggregate findings. We do not publish an identifiable submission, recording, transcript, or excerpt without the person's explicit permission.

Any research use of submissions collected before this version of the policy will be reviewed separately under the terms and notices that applied when the material was collected.

Cookies and Log Data

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand service usage, and detect technical or security problems. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some features may then stop working.

When We Share Information

We may share information with the service providers described above, when required by law or a valid legal process, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or sale. We do not sell submitted essays or audio as identifiable content.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing the service, maintaining records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why we hold it. Backups and records required for legal or security purposes may remain for a limited period after an account or submission is deleted.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. If an incident requires notice under applicable law, we will provide that notice.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also unsubscribe from marketing messages. We may need to verify your identity, and some requests may be limited where we must retain information or have another lawful reason to process it.

International Processing

Our providers and systems may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy laws and protections may differ between those countries.

Younger Users

If you are not old enough to agree to this policy and our terms on your own, a parent or guardian must review them with you. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information without the required permission can contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the new version here, update the date above, and provide any additional notice required by law. Material changes apply from their stated effective date.
